The 23 member cabinet of Punjab was announced on 26th August, 2018 which was named in consultation with the Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar.

The provincial cabinet includes eight ministers without portfolios. These include Muhammad Sibtain Khan (Taxation/Narcotics), Sardar Asif Nakai (Taxation/Narcotics), Hafiz Ammar Yasir (Higher Education), Malik Nouman Langrial, Hasnain Dareshak, Malik Muhammad Anwar, Chaudhary Zaheer ud din and Hashim Dogar.  

Others named in the cabinet include Hafiz Muhammad Ahmed (Excise/Taxation), Makhdoom Hashim Bakht (Finance), Samiullah Chaudhary (Food), Faiz-ul-Hasan Chauhan (Information and Culture), Yasir Humayun Sarfaraz (Higher Education/Tourism), Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed (Housing/Urban Development), Mian Aslam Iqbal (Industries, Commerce and Investment), Raja Basharat (Law and Parliamentary Affairs), Aleem Khan (Local Government and community development/senior minister), Raja Rashid Hafeez (Revenue), Dr Yasmin Rashid (Primary and Secondary Healthcare/Medication Education), Taimoor Khan (Youth/Sports), Mohsin Leghari (Irrigation), Murad Ross (School Education) and Ansar Majeeb Niazi (Labor and Manpower).

The nominated cabinet has taken oath at their office on Monday, 27th August, 2018.
