First-ever female candidate in FATA:
Nearly all political parties in Bajaur agency seem striclty opposed to women’s right to vote. This essentially means that women may be barred from casting any votes on May 11th. However, the silver lining is that the single female candidate in the region, Badam Zari, is determined to go forth with her campaign. She is the first-ever female candidate in FATA and vows to work for women emancipation.


Minhajul Quran protests in Layyah:
